During the day the little kids tried to keep up with the big kids. Justin, Thomas, and Christopher played football, so Anna and Garrett wanted to get in on the action. Too bad none of those pictures came out! They were having a blast! I think Garrett and Anna explored every INCH of our backyard! Whatever Christopher did, they wanted to do! :)
Michael got up EARLY this morning to start the smoker. He put on two little piggies, a brisket, some ribs, and a pork roast! Lesleigh made potato salad, and Neil made his famous beans! Everything was delicious, except for the piggies! It was unanimous...they were not good, and Michael was somewhat disappointed, but it was okay. We had PLENTY of food!
After we ate supper, they "surprised" me with a birthday party & cookie cake! Lesleigh made the cookie cake, and it was good! Just ask Holly! LOL She ate the rest of it! My birthday is officially tomorrow, but since the dedication is tomorrow, they had the party tonight.
After the Amedees and Mullins left, all four kids had to be bathed! That was circus in itself! HAHA! After Garretts turn, Michael had given him his cup of milk, and was rocking him before bed, when he threw up everywhere! We were hoping it was just because he ate A LOT of rich foods today, and it just didn't settle well. But after the second bath, he threw up again & WAY MORE this time! (All over Michael again!) Holly and her kids went to bed; Mom went to bed not feeling well; and Michael and I took turns holding Garrett. Michael mainly, because I had to take care of Abbie Grace, and didn't want to pass whatever it was along to her. About midnight I started to not feel well. By this time Dad had gotten back up to help out. He took Abbie and fed her one last time & I laid down for about 45 minutes. Garrett continued to throw up from about 9pm Saturday night until 2am Sunday morning! Good thing the Olympics were on...we at least had something to watch on tv! We all got to bed around 2:30-3:00am, not knowing what we were going to do about the dedication in the morning.
