Saturday

We were up and moving early Saturday morning with a full day of activities planned! First on the agenda was a harbor brunch cruise. It was fabulous! I'm gonna have a "Honey moment" for a minute, so just indulge me... The food was great! They had a breakfast bar with all the regular breakfast foods...eggs, waffles, sausage, muffins, ham, etc. There was a mexican bar with all the fixings...tortillas, fajita meat, salsa, guacamole, etc. There was an omelet bar with everything too! And there was a seafood bar with tons of snow crabs & boiled shrimp..all you can eat! And there was a salad table with about 5-6 different types of salads to chose from! And finally, to top if off...the dessert bar! WOW! Chocolate fountain with pound cake, cheesecake, marshmallows, pretzels, etc. AND 3-4 dessert dishes to choose from! We all ate, and ate, and ate some more! Then we went up to the top deck, took a few pictures, and went back down to eat some more before the two hour cruise docked again! LOL I think they lost money on our group that day!

This is one of the pictures of the San Diego skyline that we took while taking a break from eating!

Here's another picture taken on our "break." This is the USS Midway CV-41. This was actually next on the agenda for the day. For the guys, anyway. Michael and Mr. Phil went and toured the ship while us girls & Garrett went shopping! We hit an outlet mall close to the Mexican border & I racked up! I hit a Children's Place summer sale, and didn't pay over $2.99 for anything! I got several shirts, swimsuits, and shorts for Garrett & Ryan for next summer!
Finally, we all met back up for the San Diego Padres - St. Louis Cardinals game that night at Petco Park. The Padres couldn't pull out a win, but it was still fun to be at the game! Garrett had lots of things and people to watch!
He enjoyed watching the people in the row behind us, and I think he kept them entertained, as well!

It doesn't look like we were watching the game, but we were! LOL

Here's a view from behind home plate. Michael got antsy during the game, and was on the move!
It was another long day, but much better than the day before! :)
