While we were there Garrett got his first tooth! Yay! It started coming through his gums Thursday, and by Saturday it had completely popped out! Here is a picture of him teething...
He also really liked being outside on Mimi and Paw Paw's back porch by the pool. We were gonna go swimming, but decided since he was just getting over an ear infection that it probably wasn't a good idea. Next time! He does like the swing on the tree house, though!
He also got to see and visit with Baby Ryan, or "the white sumo," as we affectionately call him! He's getting bigger by the feedings! It won't be long before he's caught up to Garrett's weight and height! That is one big boy! :) He's so cute though...a real snuggler, unlike the "wild child wiggle worm" that I have! 
Oh...and Anna read several books to Garrett while we were there. He wasn't so interested in the stories, but he really just wanted to take the books from Anna and chew on them. Anna had other plans...read a book, point out the items on the pages...go to the next one! "Reading time" didn't last very long...they ended up fighting over the books, and Anna won! BUT in this picture they look like they were getting along just fine....
We also visited with the great-grandmas while we were in town delivering the good news! They were thrilled! I can't tell you the order they put in for November...we'll just have to wait and see if it happens! :) I actually got a picture of Garrett sitting still with Ms. Jackie...
Now...with Ms. Diane he was starting to get fidgety! Twisting and turning...and it doesn't matter which way you face him, he wants to be the other way! :) I caught a quick pic before he flipped with Ms. Diane...
And finally....Garrett had to make a trip out to Zachary to visit his older women...the Pampell twins, Brooke and Bailey! Here they are during playtime...Brooke is on the floor in front, and Bailey's in the jumperoo behind him.
